Landscape Contracting

We are currently looking for students interested in participating in the PLANET Student Career Days competitive events which will be held on the Cal Poly campus in Pomona California this year. There are usually 24 +/- different events plus a career fair, landscape tours and other student related events. These events run from March 26 till March 29, 2009 (not during spring break). We are planning to go out several days early in order to tour different sites (landscapes, gardens, firms, etc.) before the competition begins. Because of the distance we will be flying out and back.

For all students interested in a study abroad experience, the Landscape Contracting Program in the Horticulture Department is offering a course this coming Spring Semester (2009) entitled: Paris & the French Countryside; Gardens, and Landscapes of Distinction.
