Position: Field Landscaper
Employment status: Full Time
Description: Perform general landscaping duties including: weeding, mowing grass, fixing irrigation systems, pruning trees & shrubs, running landscaping equipment, and preparing planting sites. Provide tools, plants, and instructions for volunteer groups during the spring planting of the community gardens. Monitor the quality of summer maintenance in the community gardens. Work with volunteer groups to remove plants and debris during the fall. Carry out additional tasks including: taking photos, hanging signage, using power tools, driving pick-up trucks, participating in volunteer appreciation events, assisting in other greening projects within the program, etc.
Location: Pittsburgh Area
Pay Rate: Approximately $9 per hour
